Yadoku

A new dice puzzle every day.

Roll the dice, place them on the grid, chase the perfect score.

Yadoku gameplay: a completed Challenge board scoring 8 of 8 combos, with the line-by-line breakdown.

What is Yadoku?

Yadoku is a daily dice-placement puzzle. Each day you get sixteen dice, in a fixed order, to place one at a time onto a four by four grid. The goal is to line up scoring combinations across the rows and columns before you run out of dice.

Every player in the world gets the exact same puzzle each day, generated from the date itself, so your score is directly comparable to everyone else who played. There is no install and no account required. You can play right now in your browser or in the native iOS app, with Android on the way, all built from the same code.

How to play

A die appears in your tray. Tap a cell to drop it there, then place the next one. Once a row or a column is full, Yadoku checks it for combos and awards points. You are always working toward the highest score the day's dice allow.

Combos on the daily 4x4 board

The daily board tops out at a score of eight. A perfect game means every row and column carries a combo. The harder weekly board is five by five with twenty five dice and a maximum score of ten, scored with Full House, Large Straight, Five of a Kind, and the odd and even combos.

Five ways to play

Daily puzzle

One shared puzzle for the whole world, new every day. A results histogram shows where your score lands against everyone else, with no competitive leaderboard.

Weekly puzzle

A tougher five by five board that refreshes every Monday and keeps its own independent streak.

Challenge ladder

Fifty hand-curated levels ordered easy to hard. A perfect score is always reachable. Earn one, two, or three stars per level.

Community puzzles

Browse puzzles made by other players, build your own in the editor, and share any puzzle with a single link.

Free play

Unlimited 4x4 and 5x5 puzzles whenever you want, and it all works offline.

Fair by design

Yadoku has no ads and no tracking. Sign-in is optional, uses a magic link, and exists only to sync your stats across devices. The whole game is free. Yadoku Pro is a single one-time purchase that carries across platforms: buy it once on web or iOS and it is yours on both, and it will extend to Android when that launches. It unlocks challenge levels sixteen and up on both ladders and triples your community-puzzle creation quota, but it is never required to play the daily, the weekly, or free play.

Accessibility is a first-class feature: Yadoku supports Larger Text, Reduce Motion, a Dark interface, and meets WCAG AA color contrast across every theme.

Who makes Yadoku

Yadoku is built by two brothers, Blake and Derek, who live in different countries and use game development as a way to stay close. It is their first game, and they have poured that long-distance collaboration into the polish: a daily puzzle to share, a ladder to climb, and puzzles you can build and pass to friends and family.
